Physical therapy is a medical profession founded upon the treatment of injury or physical impairment by the use of therapeutic exercise and the application of modalities to restore normal function and movement. Examples of common modalities are: heat, ice, massage, E-stim, ultrasound, iontophoresis and dry needling; all of which are offered at Atlas Physical Therapy.

     Physical therapy is largely a non-invasive and highly effective approach to treating pain and dysfunction and can sometimes serve as an alternative to prescription drugs or surgery.
